Overview

The Jean & Charlotte Sarraf Foundation (JCSF) is a Lebanese not-for-profit and non-governmental organization that was established in 2006 to support and financially address the needs of society’s disadvantage groups. Malia Group member companies and Sarraf family members individually contribute funds annually to the foundation’s treasury.

JCSF works to enhance candidate’s lives by providing healthcare services and offering opportunities of further education for those in need. In line with its belief that the future begins with the youth, a fund has been created to cover university education expenses for exceptionally talented young men and women. JCSF also provide free medical consultations and surgeries.

In the last three years, the fund has successfully subsidized and overseen an open-heart surgery performed on a baby and brain surgery on a young adult. The foundation’s other activities include a financial assistance program for R&D at educational institutions – in some instances providing them with the ability to purchase laboratory equipment.

The Jean & Charlotte Sarraf Foundation extends its hand to Malia Group talent, their families and friends as well as consistently offering support to non-governmental and charity organizations such as the Red Cross. Moreover, JCSF is involved in the rehabilitation of historic sites in Lebanon where, to date, the foundation has funded the renovation of six churches.

Since its inception, JCSF has striven to create opportunities for disadvantaged people who, with a little bit of support, can achieve success. Our vision is to continue to endow people in need with these transformative openings to a better life.
